I am what some would call a rarity – I love jeans. So much. I never understood models and celebrities that would be photographed wearing athleisure and more casual clothes when everything the fashion-world has to offer is at their fingertips. As a regular girl who has loved fashion since as long as she could remember – I cannot name one instance in my 23 years of life that I have ever worn leggings or even joggers out with the intention of that being my “cute” outfit for the day. I love jeans; I don’t find them uncomfortable. I remember watching a video of Paris Hilton showing off her closet and having over 300 pairs of jeans, and thinking wow what. A . Dream. That is what I aspire – to own every possible beautiful pair of jeans out there. The outfit possibilities are ENDLESS.
Now I am very much aware that I am in the minority on this issue, and I understand everyone else’s love for leggings, however I firmly believe that everyone should own 5 good pairs of jeans for a basic wardrobe. In my personal (and self-proclaimed professional) opinion, there are five pairs of jeans that everyone out there needs in order to build their own wardrobe of endless possibilities, listed down below. Some of these jeans are a tad pricey, but there are definitely cheaper alternatives out there, these are just the jeans I personally own and stand by. And although the price points may not be realistic for all, I do believe in investing in your staples - they’re meant to last you a lifetime.
Check out my five pairs of jeans you need in your closet right now below and let me know if you disagree – I want to chat about this issue I feel so strongly about.
