What I Wore to New York Fashion Week 2021

So if you don't know by now, I've been working with a new(ish) digital publication, Fashion Comes First magazine for a little over a year now. Luckily for me, that means I am considered ~press~ and was able to attend a few shows and events at this season's Fashion Week.

I'll go into a full rundown of what went down soon, but let's be real the most important part (and the only one we really care about) is what I wore to NYFW. I spent the whole week dealing with a sprained ankle, so the choice in shoes was more practical than fashionable, so bear with me I had limited options.

I only attended four out of six of the days that events were going on, but take a look below and see what I wore!

Day 1

To be quite honest, I did not expect the show I was attending to be on the rooftop in the middle of the afternoon, so I was burning UP, however, the outfit looked cute as hell, so I have no regrets at all.

Button Up: Madewell

Crop Top: Marc Jacobs

Leggings: Koral

Heels: Gucci

Day 2

Day Two I only had a client cocktail party to kickoff their debut at NYFW - shoutout to holiCHIC by Megha! It was an Indo-Western dress code and was honestly stressing about what to wear. You never want to be too desi or too western, so I struggled and magically came up with this fit.

Special feature with Richa Moorjani from Never Have I Ever - she came out to show support and was the SWEETEST person I've ever met.

Top: Zara (will link a dupe if I find)

Palazzo Pants: House of Indya

Heels: Gucci

Day 3

The sprained ankle swelling was in full bloom on my third day, so I opted for knee high boots that would be keep me compressed and hopefully secure. This day was a lot more casual, the girls I was going with and I were hitting up a brunch, pop up shops, and the Revolve Gallery.

Skirt Set: Bershka (similar)

Crop Top: No idea - any basic will do

Boots: Marc Fisher (similar)

Purse: Badgley Mischka (similar)

Day 4

My last day was a big day. My PR client, holiCHIC's fashion show was debuting this day. We were on a rooftop and it was a BIG deal. The show went amazing, I was sweating buckets, my foot was swollen, but no pain, no gain when it comes to fashion. I was a pile of exhaustion after the week of running around the city, but hey - at least I looked good doing it - lol.

Pearl Top: Depop - Seller Bbylychee

Crop Top: No idea - any basic will do

Skirt: Fendi (on SUPER sale at Nordstrom BTW)

Heels: Gucci

Purse: Badgley Mischka (similar)

Let me know which fit you liked best down below and hopefully we'll see another one of these at NYFW in February.
